Hull hits the headlines again for all the wrong reasons!
"Sword man shot dead by police"
oh my god, the police had guns on them? I didn't even think that police in this country carried guns.

What drives a guy to do that kind of thing? Okay so i'm not a psycho so i wouldn't know what actually would lead someone to do that. But let's face it - it's something we don't even expect a madman to do - or at least i don't.
When will Hull get the coverage it deserves?
Found another article on it, this time it's a little more amusing - or at least as amusing as this kind of story gets.

i particularly enjoyed the bit were people are deciding whether it was a sword or a gun. Cos you know they both look a like. Or is just me that's picturing Uma Thurman with a Samauri Sword
Thanks to Holly for informing about this exciting news, it's almost as good as the time there was a murder in my village and there was a police chase which led to the Humber Bridge where the guy jumped off the bridge. Oh ill have to look for that article now

i've seen police with guns, in the airport...big ones.
why on earth would they shoot the guy?? he was brandishing a sword, but they can't say for sure whether he was armed?? and how about the fact that it doesn't appear he'd actually threatened anyone? in my country, if police think its dangerous enough to shoot, they don't shoot to kill! they shoot like a leg or arm or at least shoulder. thats just wak.
It was nice and queiste at work i Think i must have served errr 36 customers!
Normally 200-300
Thats will be a good way to stop people driving like idots
If people speed Shot them in the legs
if on the wrong side of a main road kill them
Get these nutters off the road
so people like me dont have to put up with them
