I THINK IT WORKS REALLY WELL
Hasn't really been god living my life this past week. I have rent problems and now getting back into contact with my recent Ex hasnt really made things any better. The second really was just like a slap in the face.
Well you see this relationship lasted about 3 months, which isn't really a long time but it still meant something to me. But anyway my ex introduced me to the new boyfriend, first shocked at what he was like but then that just went and my ex started talking about how good he felt when he was around him and im sure my ex should hear my heart breaking in two right at that precise moment. Then my ex degrading the situation of our realtionship - from what i still thought it was to something worse. I just don't know how they work, i really don't. My ex just threw everything away that was until i showed them the poem i wrote on Valentines Day which i never got the chance to give in the end because it ended a week after the day http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/30346791/
after seeing this my ex started crying and said that they wished that they had been given this on VDay then things would have been different. Once again im not understanding, i thought that this might get my ex back and it just didnt work - all i got was WHAT IF... which isnt what i wanted at all. And now i'm thinking what is my ex thinking? Do they have this in the back of their minds? Whilst they are with him? How could someone do this?
And now i just sit broken hearted trying to move on but its in the back mind all the time

Band Candy
The band for your consideration this month - and i think this i will be making a regular thing, are The Futureheads - they've been around a while in the UK. And i've loved them since i heard HOUNDS of LOVE on the radio - which i didn't know was a Kate Bush cover until a couple of minutes ago.
Okay so as its the first for your consideration thing i'm also going to suggest that everyone checks out Orson - they've just released their debut single which made it top 10 this weekend. It's called No Tomorrow - and it's really good. I've only heard two other songs from them but they seem to be really good. Can't wait to hear more from them.
Oh and for good luck, on the pop front, Girls Aloud's new single comes out this month it's called Whole Lotta History - its a nice ballad - the best ballad they've done so far (and it's not a cover which makes it even better FYI the two other ballads that they have released have been covers - I'll Stand By You and See The Day)

I'm Boycotting OSCAR!
Not only did the academy fail to recognise Seann William Scott performance in Dukes Of Hazzard as BRILLIANT but they also built up mine and the rest of the world's hope, including himself, by nominating Heath Ledger for Best Actor for Brokeback Mountain.
Now I am a bigBIG fan of Brokeback Mountain - infact it's my favourite film to date, and i stand by it proudly. But how has the academy failed to acknoweldge its superiroty over such a medicore film like CRASH.
Heath also lost out to Phillip Seymour Hoffman - which was always the favourite, but also the film was snubbed by such an actor like George Clooney literally STEALING the award of Jake Gyllenhaal.
Frankly i am ashamed and appauled at such a display by what was ONCE the best award show - at least the British have some taste (referring of course to the BAFTAs)

He Was A Friend Of Mine
I can't believe that I have actually left it so long to post something about one of my favourite movies at the minute. Not before have i ever wanted to watch a movie again this bad, and i've already seen it twice. If it's still on next week i might actually go see it again.
The film that i am referring to is: BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
I think everyone should see this movie, at least once.
Its a tragic love story set in 1963 involving two farmhands who meet each other on a job of tending sheep on a remote mounatin. During their months alone, they form a bond that eventually leads to a sexual relationship, but when the job is finished they go their separate ways to get on with their everyday lives, which involves marriages and kids.
However the attraction still remains and when they eventually meet up after 4 years, things start to get a bit more complicated. However we don't end up waiting long for the wrong place wrong time part of the story to happen. Events that start haunting them over the next few decades.
I'm not going to spoil anymore than that, and hopefully that will entice more people to go and see it. It's also doing really well at the award ceremonies, its nominated for 8 Oscars (for which i want it to win BEST PICTURE and BEST ACTOR for Heath Ledger)
And i think that it might be taking over Vanilla Sky/Donnie Darko as my favourite film ever. Never before have i wanted to see a film again SO bad

Self Healing
Even though its benefitted me, i really do hate my PC, because for no apparent reason it just stops working. - well the internet connection anyway, and its just mine out 6 pcs so its not the actual connection. But then this morning when i woke up the internt was working.
It's been about a week since it last worked, and i really just don't understand how it works.
it all stemmed from when i put it into standby so i didnt have to shut it down and then reboot in a couple of hours - cos lets face it that is a lot of hassle, but at the same time i wanted to save electricity.
Ah well at least its working now - but for how long.
In other news...
last night i went to see JOURNEY SOUTH (who came third in X factor 2). I voted for them and i wanted them to win but alas the power of the teen girl was too strong for us northerners (they are from Middlesborough) and so yet another teen idol won. YAWN YAWN
In other news...
I've started work on my novel i'm starting to write. I've only done a few pages at the minute but i think it's steming out alright. It's kinda a mix between Nasty Images/Adventures Of.../Life As It Was (still yet to be completed), which you may be thinking - why is he still writing the same stuff. Well the answer is that Nasty Images was lost in cyberspace after my old laptop had a meltdown. Adventures is still ongoing and is bit more fictional then this is, and Life As It Was was something totally different, i suppose you could actually say that the new one is like a continuation of Life As It Was (which was basically all about before and during Uni, whereas the new one seems to be going on the lines of AFTER).
In other important news for at least one of my friends (ooo but which one)...
The cleaner that STOLE of me last year has been sacked. And they've finally found the stuff, including NIP TUCK SEASON 1!

Such a classic Urban Legend, i didn't realise that this urban legend was actually a film back in 1979 called WHEN A STRANGER CALLS, and thanks to AIM i have learnt that there is going to be a remake of it in February (dunno if that's UK or US release though)

i ordered the soundtrack just so i could have this song on my mp3.
